The Flood Protection Department of Greater Wellington Regional Council (GWRC) is responsible for the maintenance of considerable areas of grass, mainly river berms and stopbanks. The successful maintenance of these areas is seen as an important aspect of GWRC’s delivery of service to its ratepayers.
The intention of this contract is that the Contractor shall mow areas under the responsibility of the Flood Protection Department of GWRC for general vegetative control and aesthetic purposes.
