GNS Science (GNS) is seeking to purchase a new diesel generating set for installation at the GNS National
Isotope Centre (NIC) Campus, Gracefield, Lower Hutt. The new generator is to replace GNS Science’s current
one, which is approaching end of functional life and is non-compliant with current electrical and hazardous
substances requirements. This will ensure our campus is fitted with an adequate generator in case of
emergencies, such as power outages or natural disasters, to maintain power for the entire campus’s
commercial & industrial applications.
