Overview

The New Zealand Food Innovation Network Ltd (NZFIN) is an accessible, national network of science and technology resources created to support the growth and development of the New Zealand Food and Beverage economy.

To better serve this mission the intention is to build an online platform that acts as a comprehensive directory which facilitates identification, communication and networking between members of the Food and Beverage Industry. This allows companies and the wider industry to search, connect, share and close the gap on industry knowledge needed to progress projects. The intention is for these connections to increase productivity, collaboration, market knowledge, and understanding within industry members, ultimately allowing members to function more efficiently.

“Think of a Facebook/LinkedIn type account for everyone involved in the F&B economy that also acts as a ‘google search’ service. It also must be log in only access to protect NZ Inc.” – Describes Angus Brown, the Business Development Manager for NZFIN at The FoodBowl.

The NZFIN are accepting proposals to develop and host a bespoke solution as specified in this document. It is advised to arrange a call or visit to NZFIN to gain a clearer understanding of the concept. For more information visit http://www.sciencelearn.org.nz/Innovation/Innovation-Stories/The-FOODBOWL
