This RFP is being issued for replacing 187 end-of-life laptops at the Natural Hazards Commission Toka Tū Ake (NHC). This initiative aims to ensure service continuity, enhance security, and improve operational efficiency by upgrading outdated hardware with a fit-for-purpose solution that minimises downtime.

The Natural Hazards Commission Toka Tū Ake (NHC) undertook a competitive Request for Proposal (RFP) process to select a preferred supplier for the provision of new laptops to replace an estimated 187 end-of-life devices in our Christchurch and Wellington offices. This procurement was conducted through the All-of-Government (AoG) IT Hardware Panel and aligns with NHC’s commitment to maintaining a secure, modern, and fit-for-purpose ICT environment.

We thank all respondents for the time and effort invested in their submissions. Proposals were evaluated in line with the published criteria, which included consideration of technical capability, value for money, sustainability, and usability.

Following the evaluation process, Spark was selected as the successful respondent and has been awarded the opportunity.

NHC appreciates the strong engagement from participating suppliers and acknowledges the high quality of responses received.
