Overview

Toka Tū Ake EQC is a Crown entity with functions set out under Section 5 of the Earthquake Commission Act 1993 (the Act). We carry out the following functions:

Provision of natural disaster insurance for residential property (dwellings and land). 

Administration of the Natural Disaster Fund (NDF), including its investments and reinsurance; and 

Fund research and education on natural disasters, and ways of reducing their impact. 

The Canterbury Earthquake sequence necessitated Toka Tū Ake EQC procure scanned mail and related services to support its claims management activities and ensure a maintained preparedness for potential future natural disaster events. Toka Tū Ake EQC now needs to procure scanned mail and related services to continue to support its claims management processes going forward. Toka Tū Ake EQC is looking for respondents who have the technology, skills, knowledge, and expertise to play a critical role in supporting and delivering key mail handling services to Toka Tū Ake EQC.
