As part of its work with business to promote energy efficiency and renewable energy projects The Energy Efficiency and Conservation Authority (EECA) encourages the implementation and demonstration of proven, underutilised technologies that could improve business energy performance and reduce carbon emissions.

Organisations can apply to EECA for funding assistance to help with the costs associated with implementing a project that will showcase a new or underutilised technology that can improve efficiency or increase renewable energy use. EECA funds up to 40% of the project costs to a maximum of:
• $100,000 for non-process heat projects; and
• $250,000 for process heat projects with a focus on commercial and industrial heat pumps. .

“Technology” can include new innovative systems and processes and is not restricted to physical equipment.
Applications must be received by EECA no later than 4:00 pm, 28 September 2018.
