The Energy Efficiency and Conservation Authority (EECA) is a Government agency that works to improve the energy efficiency of New Zealand's homes and businesses, and encourage the uptake of renewable energy. EECA BUSINESSTM provides assistance, funding and support to promote good energy management in New Zealand businesses.
This Invitation to Register (ITR) is issued by EECA BUSINESSTM to seek proposals from suitably qualified Suppliers to become registered Programme Partners for the Commercial and Industrial Energy Monitoring & Targeting Programme.
The Monitoring and Targeting Programme provides funding to assist Customers in the commercial and industrial sectors to implement and gain the benefits of effective Energy Monitoring and Targeting (M & T) Systems.

M&T Programme Partners will complete an Initial Energy Performance Assessment to determine viability of a Monitoring and Targeting Project.
With Customer approval and EECA funding approval the Providers implement the approved Monitoring and Targeting Projects and work with the Customer post-implementation to ensure Targeted Energy Savings are achieved.
M&T projects undertaken by EECA Programme Partners are eligible for an EECA contribution of up to 40% of each project’s cost up to $100,000. This means M&T projects exceeding $250,000 may be eligible for EECA contributions of up to $100,000 per project.
