The Electoral Commission is seeking a capable and reliable international courier supplier with an extensive international network to provide safe, secure and timely transport and delivery of important election related materials.
The successful supplier will have appropriate available support staff in the Wellington region, particularly over election periods. They will be able to efficiently assist preparation and delivery to and from an extensive network of locations world-wide, ensuring a prompt and secure end to end service.

The Electoral Commission, 34-42 Manners Street, Wellington, is pleased to announce that DHL Express (NZ) Limited has been awarded the contract to provide international courier services for the Commission.
The agreement was signed 23 December 2025 for an initial term of 3 years, with a right of renewal for two additional 3 year terms (total contract term 9 years).
The spend under the contract is variable and is based on actual requirements during the term of the agreement. The budget for the 9 year term is up to $268,500 excluding GST.
