Te Tari Taiwhenua - Department of Internal Affairs serves and connects people, communities and government to build a safe, prosperous and respected nation. The National Library of New Zealand Te Puna Mātauranga o Aotearoa (National Library) and Archives New Zealand Te Rua Mahara o te Kāwanatanga (Archives) sit within the Te Haumi - Enterprise Partnerships branch of Te Tari Taiwhenua.

National Library and Archives have legislative responsibilities to manage, preserve, protect and provide access to New Zealand’s record of government, documentary and recorded heritage into perpetuity. These two institutions, in partnership with Ngā Taonga Sound & Vision, have embarked on Te Ara Tahi: a shared transformation journey towards a future where the needs and aspirations of customers and Te Tiriti partners are at the centre. Te Ara Tahi includes a focus on delivering the digital capabilities and infrastructure to protect our nation’s memories for future generations. The aim is to provide New Zealanders with easy discovery and access to collections and holdings anywhere, anytime.

This Request for Proposals relates to the procurement of digital storage from a Service Provider who supplies data Storage-as-a-Service suitable for preserving digital content that will meet current and future requirements. As a shortlisted supplier, you have been invited to a closed second stage RFP process to submit a Proposal.
