The reason this procurement was deemed to be an emergency was because the situation with COVID-19 (and the mandate from government for non-essential staff to work from home) meant that DIA was urgently required to implement this service to improve the performance of DIA’s network. Poor network performance negatively impacts productivity as well as user experience, so this service was key in ensuring a stable network for DIA.
