Overview

The Royal Commission of Inquiry into Abuse in Care (The Inquiry) is investigating the abuse and neglect of children, young people and vulnerable adults in both State and
Faith-based institutions in New Zealand between 1950 and 1999.
Whiria te tangata – Weave the people together
(Te Rangi Hīroa 1887 – 1951, Ngāti Mutunga)
The Inquiry is committed to meaningfully applying the principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and is seeking existing kaupapa Māori providers to deliver services to survivors of Abuse in Care.
We are seeking proposals from providers that are currently working with whānau, communities and individuals in a culturally safe and trauma informed manner.
