Overview

The Government Chief Digital Officer (GCDO) within the Department of Internal Affairs (DIA) is seeking to understand the capability that exists within the graduate recruitment market.

The GovTech Talent Graduate Programme was set up in 2016 as part of the ICT Strategy’s action plan to meet the public sector’s changing ICT and digital skills environment.

The purpose of the Programme is to embed future ‘digital leaders’ in government agencies to promote change. The benefits include an increased acceleration of digital capability as well as embedding future ‘in demand’ capability within the public service. As the alumni increases, it is envisaged that this will form a significant pool of talent for organisational change within the public sector.

This market scan is seeking to identify Respondents that can work with the GCDO to deliver the attraction and recruitment processes of the Programme over a period of approximately three years.
