ICT SECURITY AND RELATED SERVICES PANEL RFP
The Department of Internal Affairs intends to issue a Request for Proposals (RFP) on GETS in April 2017 for an All-of-Government supplier panel for ICT Security and Related Services. The scope of the RFP is expected to cover ICT Security and related professional services including those in the following areas:
o ICT risk management, assessment and assurance
o ICT security governance, architecture and design
o ICT security consulting and review
o ICT certification and assurance
o source code and application review
o network and application security testing
o computer forensics, investigation and security incident response.
(Note: the scope of services requested in the RFP may alter as requirements are refined prior to RFP release)
This will be an ICT Common Capability panel available to all eligible agencies. This includes Public Service departments and Non-Public Service departments, and Crown agencies including Accident Compensation Corporation, Earthquake Commission, Housing New Zealand Corporation, New Zealand Transport Agency, New Zealand Trade and Enterprise, New Zealand Qualifications Authority, Tertiary Education Commission, and District Health Boards.
The RFP is being issued in preparation for the upcoming expiry of the ICT Security and Related Services Panel established in 2013 (https://www.ict.govt.nz/services/show/SRS-Panel).
A briefing for interested suppliers will be held in Wellington in the first half of May 2017. The registration process for the briefing will be made available via GETS at the same time the RFP is advertised.
Responses to the RFP are expected to be submitted in May 2017.
Respondents will be evaluated on their ability to demonstrate a proven approach to capability management, and technical competence and experience in one or more of the service areas listed above, supported by case studies and New Zealand customer references.
