The Department of Internal Affairs (DIA) is in the process of preparing a business case for the implementation of a new Facial Recognition Solution to support the processing of New Zealand Passport Applications.
DIA wish to advise that this Notification of Intent has been published on the NZ Government Electronic Notification Tenders Service (GETS) website https://www.gets.govt.nz. Further information will be available on GETS and it is anticipated that a Request for Proposal (RFP) will be posted on 14 February 2017.
