Overview

This RFP relates to the Stage 1 development of the Bannockburn Industrial Subdivision at 79 Barry Avenue, Cromwell (Lot 1 DP 526140). Stage 1 covers approximately 9.82 hectares of the wider 52.22-hectare site and includes associated road and utility interfaces.

The procurement is for street lighting services only and will be evaluated as a standalone package. The successful respondent will be responsible for the design, coordination, approvals, procurement, installation (where applicable), testing, commissioning, as-built documentation, and handover of a compliant street lighting network for Stage 1.

The objective is to deliver a compliant, coordinated, maintainable, and well-documented lighting solution that meets programme, budget, and quality requirements. Respondents must demonstrate relevant capability and experience, clearly identify any third-party interfaces or subcontracted components, and maximise the use of local suppliers and resources while supporting Central Otago's regional identity initiatives.

Contract award is anticipated in December 2026, with works expected to commence in January 2027.
