The Boulevard of Outrageous Delights for 2019 (working title) is the evolution of the formerly named World Buskers Festival (WBF). One of Christchurch’s most popular festivals, the WBF has entertained local audiences since 1994.
We are seeking an event management and delivery company to expand, reshape and transform the event, to become a Major Event for the city – one that can align with the city’s narrative of innovation and opportunity, while attracting visitors and staying true to the festival’s firm roots in the community.
This is an exciting opportunity for Christchurch to attract the best of the best, huge global names, enticing international, national and local visitors and igniting excitement while showcasing Ōtautahi Christchurch as a meeting-place of creative and outrageous minds.
The RFP process is open between March 16 and April 03 and proposals must be submitted to ChristchurchNZ GM Attraction - Linda Falwasser by email linda.falwasser@christchurchNZ.com on or before 5.00pm on Tuesday, 03 April 2018.
