Overview

Counties Manukau District Health Board’s (CMDHB) Manukau Health Park precinct is planned to have significant expansion over the coming years, with multiple work packages intended to be procured in 2022. CMDHB is in the process of looking for a contractor to undertake a construction contract for part of the new build construction and refurbishment elements of the Manukau Health Park (MHP) redevelopment project.

Through this RFP, Counties Manukau District Health Board (CMDHB or the Buyer) is seeking to engage a construction contractor to undertake an NZS3916 Design and Build, Measure, and Value contract for a Temporary Ophthalmology Clinic at the Manukau Health Park.

Specifically, CMDHB wishes to engage a competent Contractor who understands and can work through the challenges of undertaking works on an operational Hospital site, and actively works to put strict measures in place to eliminate the risk of harm or injury to staff, visitors, and most importantly, patients.
