The Protoshop within Callaghan Innovation provides design, manufacturing and precision prototyping services to co-located research teams at Gracefield Innovation Quarter and Sheffield Crescent (including the Advanced Manufacturing Group, Advanced Materials Group, Data & IoT Group, Measurement Standards Laboratory, Robinson Research Institute, and KiwiStar Optics). The Protoshop empowers NZ innovators by helping those teams accelerate their customer’s R&D projects and fuelling demand for innovation by showcasing advanced manufacturing technologies.
Within our Wellington and Christchurch workshops we have CNC milling machines that are at the end of their usable life. This RFP seeks to replace two machines and provide ongoing support and maintenance
