The Ministry of Health and the Canterbury DHB are working towards major long term investments in new and improved hospital facilities for Christchurch and Greymouth, known as the Hospitals Redevelopment Project (“the Project”). The Project is being carried out across Burwood, Christchurch and Greymouth hospital campuses and involves significant development and extension of existing hospital facilities. As part of the Project, Canterbury DHB needs to procure various Furniture, Fittings and Equipment items to complete the development, of which this Request for Proposal (“RFP”) forms part.
The DHB is looking to contract for the manufacture, supply and installation of Internal & External Window Treatments, Curtains & Blinds for the Burwood Hospital re-development programme in accordance with supplied drawings and technical specifications.
The purpose of this RFP is to obtain detailed proposals from capable suppliers with proven experience who are interested in supplying the CDHB with the stated goods and services at favourable prices and are able to meet our tight installation programme. We are looking for the most cost-effective solution that meets our specifications, is able to demonstrate their ability to manufacture to a standard acceptable to a public hospitals environment and meet the installation programme requirments.
