CDHB is considering options for the provision of an integrated patient nutrition and food service software solution. The key purpose of this solution is to:
• Decrease risk to patients with complex nutritional needs;
• More informed choices for patients;
• Increase efficiency within food services;
• Increase patient satisfaction;
• Increase clinical staff care hours;
• Timely service;
• Greater accountability and process improvement within the patient experience; and
• Improve financial inventory management.
We are not looking for a bespoke system that is designed only for CDHB use, we would prefer an off-the-shelf solution that only requires customisation and integration with our existing systems.
We are seeking suppliers that are able to demonstrate that they have successfully delivered similar systems within Australia or New Zealand, preferably within a health setting. Suppliers should be able to demonstrate that they can adequately support a system in New Zealand and provide technical support within New Zealand core working hours.
