Since 2009 the Alcohol and Other Drug System in Canterbury has been in a process of innovation and redesign, with services working together to provide an integrated continuum of care. Canterbury District Health Board (CDHB, the Buyer, we and/or us) is seeking proposals from organisations that have the capacity and capability to deliver a range of group based programmes for adults with moderate to severe alcohol and other drug (AOD) addictions (the service) that align with the overall Model of Care.
The service will form part of the continuum of care of the AOD system and will work in a collaborative way with other providers utilising a single point of entry for referrals. It is envisaged that the service will provide the best value for money with a range of programmes scheduled at times that makes it accessible to a wide audience.
We require a provider who has experience in delivering AOD services, has demonstrated experience of being part of a wider collaborative and is responsive to the needs of Māori and other ethnicities.
