This request is for multiple providers covering the Canterbury and West Coast Region.

The Canterbury and West Coast DHBs are seeking Request for Proposal from experienced parties interested in providing us with a Community Sedation Service for Children. The objective of this services is to provide a community-based sedation service for children who are unable to receive dental treatment with local anaesthetic only, but do not require a general anaesthetic. These children are insufficiently cooperative or too anxious or receive this care with local anaesthetic alone. The Service covers relative analgesia (nitrous oxide sedation) and oral sedation with a single agent. Intravenous sedation is not included.
