Clutha District Council is now inviting tenders for the renewal of water, wastewater and upgrade of the stormwater infrastructure in Milton. The contract works also involve the civil works for the electrical undergrounding installation along Union Street, as part of the Union Street scape upgrade. The works also includes the civil works to install electrical ducts across road intersections and assist with the installation of cables and light poles by PowerNet (nominated subcontractor).
Supply and construction of approximately:
o 800m of DN125OD (ID 104) PE100 PN12.5 watermains
o 747m of DN63OD (ID 52) PE100 PN12.5 rider mains
o 1,592m of DN225 to DN300 uPVC SN16 and DN375 to DN750 RCRRJ Class 2 stormwater pipes
o 476m of DN150 uPVC SN16 wastewater pipe
The scope also includes the renewal of manholes, lateral connections, water service connections, thrust restraint, valves, fire hydrants, testing, commissioning and reinstatement works.
