An exciting opportunity will soon be released by Hutt Valley DHB to complete the facility redesign and refurbishment of their Maternity Services. This is the culmination of three years planning and preparation and will produce fit for purpose and modern facilities that will benefit Hutt whanau and communities for years to come. The work is centred on updating the existing maternity ward facilities for new born babies and constructing a new, fit for purpose Special Care Baby Unit for premature and unwell babies. This is a high profile project that will generate significant positive feedback, creating a win-win relationship for the DHB and any provider willing to take up the opportunity. The plans are nearing final sign off and the tender is expected to be released on GETS during May 2022.
