Overview

Capital & Coast District Health Board (CCDHB) is seeking to build a consultant team across a range of professional services and are seeking Expressions of Interest (EOI) from suitably qualified consultants.

Consultants with previous hospital design experience would be preferred but is not essential.

The consultant team will work with CCDHB and the lead consultant/architect to deliver minor and major capital projects from design through to construction across CCDHB’s campuses in Wellington, Porirua, Kenepuru and Kapiti.

One of CCDHB’s primary objectives for design is for consultants to produce integrated designs that minimise whole of life costs.

CCDHB is seeking consultants across a range of disciplines for these roles including:
• Acoustic
• Building management and control system (BMS)
• Electrical: electro medical areas, high voltage (11kV) systems and generators
• Energy Management : efficiency design, energy modeling
• Fire engineering services: active and passive systems
• Geotechnical
• Hydraulics: sanitary, plumbing and drainage
• Information and communications technology (ICT ): data, access points, video conferencing
• Master antenna television (MATV), video systems
• Mechanical services: heating, ventilation and air conditioning, pneumatic tube system, hot water boilers, steam boilers, chiller plant.
• Medical gas
• Quantity surveyor
• Security: Nurse call systems, closed circuit television (CCTV)
• Structural/Civil, seismic engineering
