Christchurch City Council invites Tenders for the mechanical overhaul of Clarifier No. 4 at the Christchurch Wastewater Treatment Plant (CWTP). This Request for Tender is being issued as a closed / negotiated tender process to a single supplier in accordance with Council’s approved procurement strategy

The existing clarifier drive assembly is in a degraded condition with water ingress and internal wear, presenting a high risk of failure that could result in loss of clarifier functionality and unplanned outage.

The purpose of this RFT is to:
• Engage a suitably qualified Contractor to undertake critical mechanical renewal works
• Reduce risk to plant operations and environmental performance
• Deliver the works safely within a constrained shutdown window
