Overview
A section of Addington Park has been leased to Te Waerenga Community Garden and transformed into Christchurch’s newest community garden that aims to feed 100 people a week. The lease also includes space within the adjacent toilet block which requires significant upgrade, and Council has committed to delivering this to help reduce anti-social behaviour and improve the overall quality of the amenities.
