Christchurch City Council (the Council) is seeking responses to this Request for Information (RFI) about the supply of a Library Management system (LMS) to support the service delivery for Christchurch City Libraries.
The core Library Management System holds all bibliographic records, acquisitions and purchasing processes, customer records, including transactions and is the source of truth for integrated applications – such as the RFID circulation system, the website and online catalogues, and authentication services.

The responses received have assisted Council in developing its understanding of the market and informing consideration of future service requirements. Following completion of the RFI process, Council will undertake further internal planning and requirements definition activities to determine the most appropriate next steps.
