Overview

Note this Expression of Interest relates to the design and construction of New Resource Recovery Buildings at three Council Transfer Station Sites, and is related to, but is different from, Expression of Interest 32064374, which relates to the modification of the existing refuse transfer buildings at the same sites, which is a Construction-only contract.

Council owns three transfer stations located at Parkhouse Road, Styx Mill Road, and Metro Place. Council plans to redevelop these sites to enable them to function flexibly and offer optimised waste, recycling and recovery services for the city. As part of this wider redevelopment the existing resource recovery buildings on each site (Metro, Styx, Parkhouse) are being replaced by new purpose-built resource recovery, household goods and staff amenities buildings.
