Overview

Christchurch City Council (the Council) is seeking Expressions of Interest (EOI’s) from suitably qualified contractors (Respondents) who are interested in providing maintenance services for Council’s Pump Station and Wastewater and Water Supply Reticulation Network for a contract period of 5 years (with two possible rights of renewal: 1 x 2 years and 1 x 1 year), with a target contract award date of 17th October 2025 and an operational commencement date of 1st July 2026 (to allow for contract mobilisation and transition). Note the target contract award date and operational commencement dates are indicative. The Council reserves the right to modify the dates at any time, at its sole discretion.

The purpose of this EOI is to prequalify and shortlist suitable Respondents, who will then be invited to submit a commercial proposal via a subsequent Request for Proposal (RFP) process.

The objective of the EOI process is to:

• Better understand the interest from the market.
• Gain a clear understanding of the market’s capability and capacity to deliver the Contract Works.
• Obtain information from Respondents about how they can deliver the contract in the most efficient way possible.
