Overview
The Brooker Bridge was once a well-used pedestrian footbridge over Corsers Stream in Burwood. Following the earthquake the bridge was severely damaged and the decking was removed, leaving only its substructure intact. Today, handwritten signs and an informal log crossing are expressions of the community’s desire for this bridge to be reinstated.
