Christchurch City Council (the Council) is seeking to appoint a suitable contractor (or two contractors) to operate and maintain the Council’s Low Pressure Sewer Systems (LPSS) and/or Vacuum Sewer Systems (VSS) for a contract period of 5+2+1 years with a target operational commencement date of 1 September 2025 and a target award date of 30 May 2025 (to allow for start-up and transition).
Council would prefer one contractor for LPSS and VSS but is open to two contractors – one for LPSS and one for VSS.

Council will approach this commercial process across two procurement stages – an EOI stage (shortlisting contractors) and then an RFP stage.
