The purpose of this RFT is to invite Tenderers to submit their Tenders for the repair, refurbishment and strengthening (Redevelopment) of Hoon Hay Community Centre.
The scope of the Redevelopment includes, but is not limited to:
• removing asbestos containing materials.
• improving accessibility to the building by creating a ramped entrance, removing the existing door and installing a new deck with double door access.
• installing new fences and pedestrian gates.
• combining the existing toilet and lobby to create an accessible toilet with change table.
• removing existing internal shelving to install a kitchenette.
• upgrading the existing lighting to LEDs.
• installing bracing elements to strengthen the building.
• installing new ceiling (with insulation).
• replacing existing soffits with fibre cement soffits.
