The purpose of this RFP is to invite suitably qualified, skilled and experienced Principal Architects to submit proposals for Principal’s Architect Services during the Design & Construct Pre Contract Services Stage (PCSA Stage) of the Canterbury Multi Use Arena (CMUA) Project.

The purpose of the Principal Architect role is to represent Christchurch City Council (the Client) and support and challenge the Contractor led design team to create and develop a design that aligns with the Project vision, objectives and fundamental requirements in relation to:
• precinct design;
• external building architectural form and finishes
• cultural context and narrative
• corporate spaces offering

The Principal’s Architect is to collaboratively work with all parties involved in the PCSA Stage of the CMUA to the Council’s requirements as specifically described in the RFP under Section B – Scope and Specification
