The Christchurch City Council (the Council) has an abundance of processes that can stretch across the whole organisation, they are highly repetitive, use multiple systems, are mundane and an inefficient use of employee’s time. These employees can spend many hours performing these processes, which could otherwise be automated to free up time to spend on value-adding activities.

The Council is seeking Expressions of Interest (EOI’s) from suitably qualified suppliers (Prospective Suppliers) who are interested in providing and implementing a platform for robotic process information to the Council.

The purpose of this EOI is to prequalify and shortlist suitable Prospective Suppliers to provide:

• Value for money for Christchurch ratepayers and the wider community through more efficient processes;
• Efficiency and effectiveness in the delivery of the Goods and/or Services; and
• A solution that will:
o Work with multiple applications, user interfaces and platforms.
o Read/Write data from/to MS SQL Server.
o Be centrally orchestrated or at least have scheduling capabilities.
o Provide error reporting and effective debugging ability.
o Scalable, easy to add additional automations.
o Robust and intuitive development environment

The EOI process involves a quality attribute evaluation methodology. EOI submissions should clearly demonstrate the Prospective Suppliers proven abilities in relation to the key aspects of the Goods and/or Services. It is anticipated that shortlisted Prospective Suppliers will be asked to meet and present to the Evaluation Panel, provide a rough order quote and may then be asked to provide commercial proposals under an RFP/RFT process.
