Christchurch City Council (the Council) is seeking Expressions of Interest (EOI’s) from suitably qualified contractors (Respondents) who are interested in delivering earthquake repairs and installation of pool water services, mechanical and electrical installation at Pioneer Recreation and Sports Centre to the Council.

The purpose of this EOI is then to communicate to the market the Council’s needs to deliver the project, determine the market appetite to participate in a multistage procurement (EOI + RFT), understand Respondents expertise, capability and capacity to deliver the contracts works during the available timeframe (Mid-November 2020 throughout Mid-April 2021) at the Pioneer Recreation and Sports Centre shutdown.

The following high level steps are anticipated:
• An EOI to establish a group of Respondents
• An interactive EOI process to align expectations from both parties and discuss value for money initiatives
• A RFT to shortlisted Respondents
• Negotiation and due diligence stages may be undertaken with Respondents
• Presentation with Preferred Respondent if required
• Recommendations developed and approved
• Contract award
