Woolston Park sports fields have suffered from a poor quality sports turf surface for a number of years. This is related to the uneven surface and ponding of surface water that was exacerbated by the earthquakes and subsequent ground movement. The planned works are to address this.

A land drainage pipe servicing the park and adjoining cul-de-sac is also in need of replacement. The new park drainage was planned to utilise the existing drain. By combining the Parks works and Land Drainage works both can be carried out at the same time causing less disruption to the park in the long term.

The purpose of this RFT is to invite Tenderers to submit their Tenders for Woolston Park Drainage and Field Works.
