This Work package invlves two separate portions, this is due to the requirement for Orion to carry out undergrounding in the area of Separable Portion 2. This work is expected to take a four months period
Separable Portion 1
• Bealey Ave to the intersection of Trafalgar Street and
• Shepard Place and Rutland Street between Innes Road and Tomes Road
Separable Portion 2
• Trafalgar Street/Shepard Place intersection to Rutland Street and
• Rutland Street from St Albans Street to Innes Road
The work involves the upgrading of one existing traffic signal intersection, the installation of one new sets of new traffic signals, 1,200 m of new concrete cycle separator, 600m of new drainage piping, the construction of 1,800 m2 of new cycleway and 1,000 m2 of new footpaths.
