Christchurch City Council (the Council) is seeking Expressions of Interest (EOIs) from suitably qualified suppliers who are interested in making an offer for the supply of construction services. The broad scope requirement comprises effective reinstatement of the building undertaking the following works, at the Lyttelton Library, which is located on the corner of London and Canterbury streets (18 Canterbury Street), and 25 Canterbury Street – which is to be the new location for the Lyttelton Mt Herbert Community Board Boardroom:

• Repairing of Earthquake damage
• Structural strengthening (steelwork and concrete repair)
• Replacement of end of life M&E systems,
• Roof repair and painting,
• Modernisation of internal layout and function.
• Internal refurbishment works, lining and finishing trades,
• Creation of new access points and External envelope enhancements,
• General updating of current facility to building code,
