The purpose of this RFP is to invite Respondents to submit their Proposals for the provision of Design & Build development works and services specifically for Infill Housing developments within the Council Social Housing portfolio.

The objective of this RFP process is to obtain sufficiently detailed information from Respondents about their respective organisations and their ability to provide the Contract Design & Build [D&B] Services and Works. This enables the Council to select and appoint a D&B Contractor to provide the Contract Works.

In awarding the contract to a panel of Contractors [4 – 6], the Council intends to achieve:

 Best value for Christchurch ratepayers and the wider community;
 Alignment with its strategic objectives;
 Efficiency and effectiveness in the delivery of the Contract Works; and
 A panel of pre-qualified D&B contractors who meet all of Councils criteria.
