Overview
The Commerce Commission is interested in considering proposals for the provision of econometric analysis to assist the Commission with its market study into the grocery sector in New Zealand. Specifically, the Commission is interested in proposals to develop, estimate and test econometric models that use cross-sectional and/or time series analysis to examine how local grocery market structures affect prices and margins in the grocery retail sector. The Successful Respondent will also be required to submit a comprehensive written report to the Commission detailing the findings and limitations of the application of the econometric models within the timeframes specified in the RFP.
