Following an exemption from the requirement to advertise under NZ Government Procurement Rule 14, The Aviation Security Service (AvSec) of 55 Featherston Street, Wellington has awarded this contract to Orion NZ Radio Group Ltd of 36 Sheffield Crescent, Christchurch to provide support and maintenance for the Digital Radio mobile network radio equipment used by AvSec for their digital radio communications. The original contract was signed in December 2020, a contract variation was signed in September 2021 and the total term is for a period of three years and ten months. The estimated contract value is approximately $460,000 (excluding GST).
