Overview
This RFP is issued by New Zealand Institute for Bioeconomy Science Limited trading as Bioeconomy Science Institute (BSI) – Scion Group, referred to below as “the Buyer” or “we” or “us”.

• The original lift supply contract was openly advertised and competitively procured
• The builder’s works are additional works necessary to fully deliver the original lift scope
• A change of supplier at this stage cannot be made for economic or technical reasons
• Re-tendering would result in duplication of cost, loss of ECI knowledge, and material programme delay, putting the 30 June 2026 BWOF deadline at risk.
