The Bioeconomy Science Institute (BSI) has secured a six-year licence for aspenONE® Engineering Desktop Premium 2, a comprehensive suite of process modelling and engineering design tools. This includes the industry-renowned AspenPlus process simulation software, as well as specialised modules such as the Capital Cost Estimation Tool.

This licence represents a continuation and maintenance of BSI’s modelling and design capabilities, originally established at Scion in 2013. The procurement was made under an exemption from open advertising, as there is only one suitable supplier.

A service agreement will be entered into, with a contract period from 23 August 2025 to 23 August 2030.
