Tenders are invited from suitably qualified contractors for Technical Support for the Rotorua Lakes Programme Rotorua. The successful bidder will be required to support a range of lake restoration and related projects. The specific work involves a number of in-lake and in-stream initiatives to control lake nutrient inputs. Although these initiatives are designed to improve water quality they require appropriate testing and approvals before full scale implementation. The contractor is required to assist in getting projects implemented. This includes trial and full scale projects.
Most of these projects require various resource consent and building permit approvals. A good knowledge of those processes is necessary to undertake this role.
Tender documents are available from the Bay of Plenty Regional Council office at 5 Quay Street, Whakatane, or online through GETS and LG Tenders.
Tenders shall be placed in the tender box at Bay of Plenty Regional Council’s Whakatane office by 4.00 p.m. on Tuesday, 28 July 2014.
