Overview

On 1 May 2016, Bay of Plenty Polytechnic (BoPP) and Waiariki Institute of Technology (Waiariki) were disestablished with their operations, assets and liabilities being transferred into the newly formed Waiariki Bay of Plenty Polytechnic (WBoPP). This voluntary merger between two academically and financially viable institutions was undertaken to better serve the whole and wider Bay of Plenty.

WBoPP is currently organised under two administrative hubs – Tauranga and Rotorua.

The Tauranga Administrative Hub is home to a diverse community of staff and students. In 2015 over 6,500 students studied full or part time with us. We employ approximately 350 permanent staff with up to a further 250 employed on a short-term basis.
Our operations are based at three locations in the Bay of Plenty; Windermere Campus, Windermere, the Bongard Centre in central Tauranga, and a small agricultural training facility in Edgecumbe.

The purpose of this Request for Tender (“RFT”) is to invite external companies to submit tenders to Waiariki Bay of Plenty Polytechnic (“WBoPP”) with information on their skills, services and experience in providing the delivery of first aid courses.

The information is requested so that WBoPP can:
• Identify organisations interested in and capable of delivering these products/services; and
• Identify different methods of providing such products/services and a preferred solution/product.
