Bay of Plenty District Health Board (Bay of Plenty DHB) is seeking to identify and select a preferred supplier for the supply of Audiology Clinic Services to patients in the Eastern Bay of Plenty region which includes the Kawerau, Whakatane and Opotiki districts.

Audiology services being sought include Primary (Community) and Secondary referred tests and ORL Clinic Attendance comprising:

• Provision of diagnostic examinations (preparation of the patient, including provision/administration of any services, substances and supplies incidental to the procedure, and undertaking of the examination/procedure)
• Hearing aid habilitation/rehabilitation for all children diagnosed with permanent or long-term hearing impairment and any adults who meet eligibility criteria under the yet-to-be-determined minimum service specifications for DHB Audiology services.
• Clinical advice and education (advice to patients/carers and referring practitioners, including advice on the appropriateness of examinations)
