Overview
The purpose of this Notice is to provide advance notification to the market of the intention to release a Request for Proposal (RFP) to replace the current Explosive Detection System (EDS) x-ray in use at New Zealand airports, with European Civil Aviation Conference (ECAC) Standard 3 compliant equipment.
Avsec are intending to release a RFP late July/August 2019, for implementations planned to take place in 2021.
Note: No information from potential respondents is requested nor required from this advance notice. Suppliers who are interested in being part of the proposed RFP process should ensure that they are registered to receive GETS notifications for the applicable RFx Categories.
