The purpose of this Advance Notice is to inform the market of Auckland Transport's (AT) intention to undertake a market sounding exercise for a Lead Design Consultant with a proposed paint facility at the Wiri EMU Depot.

AT is seeking to better understand market capability, design methodologies, technical requirements, delivery options, programme considerations, and procurement approaches to support the development of a future business case, funding approval, and procurement strategy.

This notice enables potential suppliers to assess alignment with the anticipated scope and delivery model ahead of any formal tender activity, and invites suppliers to register interest for early market sounding sessions with the relevant AT project team.
