Stage 2 is the medium-term solution in the Airport to Botany Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) corridor staged implementation. The primary objective of this stage is to extend the AirPort Link service through to Botany Town Centre from its current termination at Manukau Station, developing infrastructure to enable a high-quality, reliable service that establishes travel behaviour ahead of the BRT. Core scope includes the design of interim stations to replicate the look and feel of a BRT service, with supporting active-modes access improvements, and corridor design of infrastructure to enable Special Vehicle Lanes (SVLs).
